What is Hypothesis

1.  A tentative insight into the natural world; a concept that is not yet verified but that if true would explain certain facts.
2.  A message expressing an opinion based on incomplete evidence

What is Hypothesis testing:

        Proving either our assumptions or Hypothesis is either true or false.In a scientific/statistics, a proposed and testable explanation between two or more variables that predicts an outcome or explains a fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen.

        From above statement could understand two things either our assumptions is true/right or false/wrong which we technically called Null hypothesis and alternative Hypothesis receptively.

     For Example:

        A customer confirmed that after the service of his chocolate vending machine, it is producing 4. grams of chocolate instead of 5 grams.

Now we will take the data of the vending machine before service and after service and then we need to prove that if it is providing 5 grams or not after service.

Here I need to prove that vending machine is giving 5 grams even after vending machine and it will be our alternative hypothesis testing, and null hypothesis testing will be not equal to 5 grams(We always try  to reject null hypothesis means we are always trying to prove that alternative hypothesis is correct)

Ha and Ho are denoted as Alternative hypothesis and Null hypothesis

Types of Hypothesis testing :

We will discuss the types of hypothesis testing which is widely used in our day to day life of Data Science.
